Point System Info With Running Totals

As Game Commander for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare it is my goal to take clan activity to a new level. In order to do this I have compiled a point system that will let members earn points that give them entries into a drawing for prizes at the end of the year. There are multiple ways to earn points and I will keep a running tally so that everyone can see how many points they have earned so far.

So here is how the point system will break down:

Tourney Attendance 1pt
Tourney Winning Team 1pt
Tourney Winning Team MVP* 1pt
Clan Wars Participation** 1-2pts
Clan Wars MVP*** 1pt
Practice/Game Night Attendance 1pt

*Tourney MVP chosen by each member of the winning team voting for who they thought deserved MVP. In the event of a tie everyone will vote again only this time you may only vote for one of the members who tied.

**Clan wars participation will be calculated the following way. Since the app tracks individual wins we will split the field in half. With the top half getting 2pts and the bottom half getting 1pt.

***Clan Wars MVP will be awarded to the top contributor(s).

For those of you that are probationary members if you are not a full member you can still earn points, but if you are not a full member by the time of the drawing you will not be eligible for a prize.


Here are a couple of examples to help explain how the point system will work.

So if you showed up to a tourney and your team won and you got voted mvp by your peers then you get 3pts. Everyone else on your team would get 2pts(1 for attending & 1 for winning). Everyone on the losing team would get 1pt(attendance).

If you finished in the top half in wins during a clan war you would get 2pts. If you finished in the bottom half in wins you would get 1pt. Clan wars MVP's would recieve 1pt.

You would also receive 1 pt for attending a practice/game night.

Point Results: I awarded both S7 Sticky and Ragnarok 319 MVP for this clan war. Ragnarok lead the team in wins for the first half of the war until S7 Sticky surpassed and took the lead. I realize that due to reasons beyond our control that some of you might have wins that didn't count. Unfortunately there is no way to get those wins back. Hopefully we wont have any issues like this in the future. Thanks again to everyone that came out and made the first clan war such a successful one.
