If you're looking to power lvl to 20, try Control on Crucible.  I'm mediocre on Crucible and have been averaging 2400 XP/match, not including bounties.  I got in some crap rooms that dropped me to under 1k/match, otherwise I'd be at like 3-3.2k/match.  Also, you still get about the same amount of drops and gear as you would from story and Vanguard.

I'd be willing to roll either with you (trying to get my alt Warlock from 17-20) but I'm on PS4.
