Atheon patch is live...

Looks like it's time to learn how to use the relic at Atheon!

LOL!  Guess our timing for practice with the Relic holder last night was good.  Can't wait too see how it all goes on our next run, especially on Hard.

Strafe the sniper fire, ground pounds, and an occasional dash attack to close the distance.  If the others inside will at least throw nades it helps.  If a hunter blasts em with golden gun it makes relic holding a cinch.

Probably best to have a relic priority list with hunters at the bottom. That way whenever Aetheon teleports us, no matter the combination of people who go in, there's always a person who is supposed to grab the relic.

Glad you got the gloves yesterday Husker, it will be nice to finally have another level 30. If we can just get one more, we should be fine.

Btw, anyone see that Bungie sent us all a new "Jackolyte" item? I guess it turns your head into a flaming pumpkin for 30 mins haha

WTF MONKEYS!!! Bungie broke the d@mn game with the patch, everyone is getting non-stop monkey errors. I probably got kicked 20 times today in just 2 hours

I've been seeing a lot of comments like that today.  Monkey's everywhere.

But this is what they did:

So, I guess they upped the raid so Atheon randomly drops players from the game instead of randomly having them time travel?

I noted in my other post (PS4 Raid) about a glitch we encountered last night with Atheon where he only teleported 1 or 2 of us instead of 3.  I thought I'd post it here too.  Anyone else on the Xbox side notice this yet?

That glitch has always randomly happened to me. The only new glitch I see at aetheon is that he sometimes summons 4 harpies instead of 3.

Hum? interesting.  This is the first time we have had the teleport glitch.  I was usually on the away team last night so I'm not sure about the supplicants. I'll have to keep an eye out for that one.  Thanks.

Only time we had less than 3 get teleported, when I was playing, was when someone died right before the teleport so it left 3 outside and only sent 2 in.  I can't remember ever seeing 4 live players be left outside though.

That is what happened last night.  We were 5-manning the Raid. We got to Atheon, all five alive and one got teleported.  Took us a while to realize what was happening so we succumbed to oracles before we could rush into he gate and kill the oracles.  But all four of us were alive outside the gate and one got sent inside.

Later only two got teleported but I do think someone died right before or during the teleport that time.

I've been part of a full-party on the first teleport where only one person got sent in lol.

Also, I just remembered another new glitch from yesterday: getting sent into the portal AND having the detain bubble. Happened quite a few times last night.
