Xbox One Patch has gone live...

Man, I really hope this solves at least the crashing issues.  Will be trying tonight.

Xbox One Game Update Dec 13

Sounds promising.  Didn't realize there was that much stuff that could crash the game.

I may pick this up today or tomorrow if you tell me the patch worked.

Well, I've certainly had my fair share (seems more than most others) and I plan on playing a LOT tonight if the crashing stops.  I'll let you know how it goes on my end.

I might hop on to test it tonight.  Also trying to finish Assassins Creed 4.

From the reports I'm seeing so far it's really mixed on whether or not it's doing any good.  Some people say it works, some say things are the same/worse.

Seems to be working for me so far.  Played 6-7 matches in a row, no drops or disconnects.

The party chat still doesn't work for me.

yep still have to do the work around were every one Does NOT have the disc in  get in a party then u can load bf4

Still crashes on me. In fact now I have a problem where it just straight freezes on me during the loading of the map.

That sucks, sorry to hear that.

Over Friday night and the entire weekend I only crashed to the dashboard twice and dropped in the middle of a game once.  This patch is weird in that it really does seem to have helped a lot of people like me, but hurt people that weren't having as bad of issues as I originally was.

I played some matches over the weekend and I didn't notice any more crashes yet.  However, it appears there is still issues with enabling party chat while in BF4.

I now into about an hour of just sitting here loading and reloading the game to try and join a server. I am so mad at EA. How they can release a broken game and claim it is still worth $60 and you can still buy premium for $50 just blows my mind.

Currently reinstalling the game completely. This better work.

yeah, it's pretty dissapointing.  The last EA game I got before BF4 was Sim City, and that was also a disaster at launch and it took them awhile to make the game relatively stable.  I don't think I'll be buying EA products anymore, or at least I'll wait to see what others think of a game before I go out and buy it.  A game shouldn't be that broken.

I understand games have problems with launch recently, especially multiplayer games, but it has been almost 2 months since the last gen and PC versions were launched. It's getting to the point where I dread even putting it in my xbox because I know it probably is not going to work.

I tried to play it again this weekend and couldn't get in any matches. Going to send this back today

d@mn, hate to see that especially since mine finally has started working great(ish).   

Though I have had my share of issues, mainly crashing to home screen and a crappy server browser, the recent patch has made things far more stable. I have also stopped using the in-game server broswer and only search for games via the battlelog app on my phone.

Ok so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and so far I have had no issues. Played three straight games and even saw a map I never got to play before. I hope this has fixed my problem.

Nice!  Sounds like a fresh install might fix it up.for anyone still having trouble.  I'm getting a pre owned copy Friday.  Guess someone just couldn't wait for the patch.
