Vanguard Armor/ weapons

Are the vanguard armor/weapons that we get access to for preordering any good?

You can get some at level 5 and some at level 10.  They're only "good" if they are better than what you have.  They aren't anything special, just green upgrades if you need them at the time.

Usually yes they are good and most of the time better than what others have for sale. But right it's all relevant.

The level 5 (60 damage) auto rifle is helpful for your first character.  After that you should find a good level 6 (99 damage) through loot that you can hand down instead or as well.  I may have bought one piece of level 10 armor.  At 15 I have just forgoten to check the armory.

BTW, The preorder pack of stuff they gave me had some really cool postcards form each one of the planets. Venus, mars, earth and i think somewhere else.

There's nothing after level 10 from what I've seen.  I ended up at level 19 and check and everything was still level 10.
