No, but the Digital Guardian Edition will be available day one for the XB1 so same thing.

Just FYI, that's not actually a game pre-order.  All that is is a code for $90 currency to buy whatever you want.  They just advertise it like that to get business.

Ha, what an odd way to repackage essentially buying the equivalent of MS Points.

I thought I read somewhere that digital pre-order or pre-download was coming in late September and that it wouldn't be available for Destiny release.

First two pre-download of the "select" games will be FIFA 15 (9/26) and Forza Horizons 2 (9/30).  Here's the article:

On the plus side you do get reward points for buying your points through them.  Downside is you still can't download it until 9AM on the 9th, so it won't be on your box and ready to go at midnight which I think what everyone is looking forward to.

Confirmed

Madden showed up for preload the week before release, and was not on the list with FIFA and Forza. I hope to see the same with Destiny, but am not going to hold out too much hope. I'll just download the digital deluxe before going to work and have it ready when I get home.

Yeah I'm not doing the midnight release anyway. My wife and kids are going on a trip for a week starting the weekend after Destiny comes out sooo I can hold out a few days before the binge is real.

2nd official pre-order confirmed!  My 10 year old son officially asked for Destiny for his birthday.  I'm so proud!  I'll be getting his on the PS3 due to the free online feature.  Not ready to start paying for Live for him just yet but Destiny requires online play so PS3 seems the best option for him right now.

Are you able to pre-order the standard ed for digital DL with the pre-download, or just the $90 special ed on PS4?

You can pre-order either copy.  Both will have the pre-load feature.

The Digital Guardian Edition is available on XBL now, and I'm going to start the DL tonight. It's going to be a long wait knowing it's there and ready on the hard drive, and only looking for a 9/9 date to unlock.

Got the following message when I tried to pre-order from the PS Store via the PS iPhone app:

We've encountered an error while processing your order. The transaction has not been completed. Please try again later.

I don't currently have funds on my PS+ account but usually it just asks me to add money from a CC or something.  Not sure what the deal with this is.  Guess I'll have to try from my box tomorrow.

Got on my box and did the standard digital preorder and just downloaded the initial files (only like a couple hundred MG each).  Is there something else I have to do to predownload so I'm good to go ASAP or do I have to wait?
