Pre-Order Confirmed!

Well, I finally "Officially" pulled the trigger today.  I have pre-ordered and fully paid for my Digital Guardian Edition of Destiny.  I went with the top digital version with access to the Vanguard Armory and Emblem pre-order bonus, an exclusive Ghost Shell, Player Ship, and Player Emblem, and a reservation for two upcoming Destiny Expansions.  So excited!!!

Who else is fully committed and paid for at this point?

I haven't made the decision yet.  For one, I still don't know if I want to get it for XBO, PS4, or possibly both.  Two, other games will be keeping me busy as well and I'm not sure how much time I'd be able to commit to Destiny.

If digital pre-ordering on the XB1 was possible I'd have done it a long time ago.  

As it is I think they will still be offering the DGE on day one...and that's what I'll be getting.  I have zero doubt I'll be playing this enough to go ahead and get the expansions that come along with the DGE.  The gear I don't really care about all that much as it'll be useless in a few levels, but still cool to start off with I guess.

Well, mine is paid off by default.  The only downside to pre-ordering digital via PSN.  Funds are removed at time of pre-order.

Out of curiosity, with digital pre-ordering...is the sale final?  Are you able to get a refund if you change your mind before the game comes out?

I'll be getting the Digital deluxe version as well, as soon as it is available on XBL.

Yes, sale is final.  No cancellation or refunds.  I suppose if you raised enough hell you might get your money back but generally speaking once you order/pre-order is a done deal.

EDIT:  This note is on the main page when you order:

"CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW."

Preordered the basic hardcopy so if I dont like it or get left behind I can recoop some money, which I never do but the hardcopy came with $10 of msp

I'm considering doing a digital pre-order. Now that my internet is actually fast [50/15] I won't have any problems with the download. I do already have a hard copy reserved though, just in case.

Still need to get the cash together for this one.  I'll probably end up just doing the base digital DL pre-order but we'll see what happens when push comes to shove.

I have pre-ordered the edition that will get me the expansions included and i think a sticker? But it will be mailed to my house. So, I think i will be receiving it the week it is released but not on opening day. I didn't way to pay $50 to get it to arrive on release day.

Oh, that sucks.  I couldn't handle the game being out and having to wait!

Yeah, unless I take the day off from work, I probably won't get to play until that Friday night.  Just not enough hours in the day.

Cool, will be interesting to see if it'll be playable or if they are actually going to wait to flip the switch on the servers at midnight of release.

Good question.  I still have the Beta, but the servers are down if you try to load.  But at the same time, testers are constantly playing and the main servers may be up a running early to test things.  I'd be interested to hear what happens.

I will be getting my copy prolly the Friday after it comes out. I got a beach vacation starting this Sunday so I will have to see how much money I have left over.

2 weeks out.  I'm very excited to play this game. I've got my money put aside so I don't spend it before amazon ships it to me.
