Do you have a link?  Is this official?  I find it hard to believe they would cut the price so soon after repackaging it at $399.

so been reading it   and as of right now its been labeled as Unofficial  with a good source saying it will happen  and now ps4 is looking to drop price to keep up with MS and keep the lead on sales

i can see it happing as lets face it the ps4 has out sold xb1  4 to 1   and MS want to change that ... and i think it xb1  under cuts sony   ... sony in return will try to under cut MS...

which really makes people like me very happy  i do plan on owning a ps4 some time in there life cycle as i love some of the ps  exclusives

They are trying to do everything they can to at least sway some momentum away from Sony.  The XB1 is still getting thrashed in sales numbers compared to the PS4.

I can understand the frustration from MS but still find it hard to believe.  I think it's more rumor than anything.  Also, FYI, that article is 6 months old, before the Kinect-less X1 was available at the same price of the PS4.  Still, I'll be interested to see if this actually happens.

I thought I saw the $399 to $349 price drop on FB too, but I'm not positive.  I did see an article discussing a €399 to €349 possible drop for Europe which said that could cause a drop to $329 in the US, but nothing definite.  Here's the article:

To be fair MS also said "There will NEVER be a kinect-less Xbox One" right up until they said there would be one.  It's hard to belive anything until it actually happens these days.  I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see a price drop before the holidays.
