Destiny Beta Starts Now! (Xbox One)

Just got an email from Bungie saying the beta starts now!  Woohoo a day early!  I didn't want to clutter up the already made threads with this news!

Also up again for PS4 users.  Everybody have fun!

Beta is live for PS4, confirmed. Have out there and be sure to post up your impressions. I can't wait to hear what you guys think. 

Also, keep an eye out for additional codes. I got an email from PSN giving me a code for PS4 and PS3 unrelated to my preorder. XBL might do the same.

Looks like right now it's gonna take an hour+ to download and install.   I've been downloading for 30 minutes and am at 38%.  Actually better than what I expected considering the hit the servers must be taking and the issues that the PS4 had.

Will they email the code or what?

I noticed my codes were there on bungie.net but then got an email about 10 minutes later.  If you haven't gotten yours yet maybe they are doing it in waves or something.

By the way...

If your destiny beta installation gets corrupted make sure to close the game out and restart it.  I just had this happen and when I re-started it it resumed from where it crashed.  It said to uninstall and try again but I did NOT re-install.


EDIT:  Well, after hitting 76% it looks like I'm crashing before it even gets started again.  I may not be playing this tonight after all.

Yeah I got like 2 extra codes after I was already playing so I have 4 free ones I think.  I'll probably be back on tonight.  So much for Dragon's Teeth.

Finally got on after about 2 hours and a few interruptions, but am good to go now, woohoo!

I've been downloading for about an hour at 26% probably not going to play tonight but I'll be on tomorrow night.

Checked on mine this morning before work it was fully downloaded. Clicked to play and oh set up a character oh ok look up at the clock uh I better put this down before I get sucked in and am late for work. I did set up my character and chose a Titan. What are you guys using for classes.

It was good of you to put it down and wait, lol.  As far as characters I am a female Awoken Warlock.  I'm sure once the retail game comes out I'll have all 3 classes but for now I'm thinking my main will be the Warlock.
