Man, I wish this game was coming out on consoles next week instead of 2-3 months from now!

That's the one thing that's nice about it.  There should be a lot of bugs/issues that can be ironed out on the consoles at launch that the PC guys will have to deal with at the start.

Ehhhh... That's true of the big/general stuff. Most bugs that they don't catch are little things and the development process itself is going to alter which little bugs end up on the console. Not to be Mr. Glass-is-half-emtpy or anything  Very Happy

D3 was apparently a much better game on consoles due to a later release.  The PC guys basically beta tested for us and we got the better game.  Maybe something similar will happen here.

This sounds even more epic with each new article.  I wish they'd do like a week or two free to try out the game before purchasing a sub.  I'd like to get a feel for the game before dropping the money on a monthly sub.

The first 30 days are free.

I remember the first 30 days being free, unless you mean they give you a free trial before you drop $60 on the game.  I'd like to try the game again after it's official release since I wasn't impressed with the beta, but I don't want to pay $60 for a game that I've been unsure about.  So I'm probably stuck with not getting the game at all, or waiting a long time for a free trial.

Yeah, that would suck to drop $60 on an online only game to try out for 30 days and find out you don't want to pay for a sub.  I guess at that point you could trade it in and get something else.  Also, is that 30 days the first 30 days you sign on to the game or first 30 days starting at the game's release?

I would venture to guess the retail game comes with a 30 day code.

No idea how they're going to do it on consoles since they haven't released any info regarding them but from what I can tell on the PC you will need to go to their website and choose a subscription plan and payment method.  Once that is done it will start your 30 day free time and you will be responsible to cancel before your 30 days is up or you'll be charged for the subscription plan you chose.

I'm not a big fan of that kind of a deal but it is what it is.

Also, there are discounts for subscribing to the following plans (and I assume they are recurring unless you cancel)...

30 day sub = $14.99/Month

90 day sub = $13.99/Month

180 day sub = $12.99/Month

I'm assuming the full charge of the particular sub would be charged at one time and I personally will probably start off with the 180 day sub as I see myself being involved in the game for quite a long time.  I know most people won't do that but this is the kind of game that I've been waiting for for a LONG time.

I know this game will be pretty epic but I don't know if I'll get this or hold off a bit because I want time free to hit Watch Dogs.
