Nfl offseason
So two days in the broncos are doing all they can to win while they have manning. They signed both Aquib Talib and Demarcus Ware to huge money contracts. Very interesting and I wish the pats would take note.

And on the other side, the Bears have something like 28 contracts that ended with 2013. They've resigned Cutler, so fail.

At least one team is taking defense seriously. Did no one else learn the lesson the Seahawks taught?

Re: Nfl offseason
Bears have released a lot of their 2013 league worst defense and are starting to rebuild. It's early, but they did pick up safety M.D. Jennings from the Packers and safety Ryan Mundy from the Giants which should help out. They also resigned D.J. Williams who would have been an asset last year if he wasn't injured most of the season. And since they dropped Peppers (still not too sure about that) they signed DE Lamarr Houston from the Raiders.
Even with those couple of moves they still have a lot of quality players that they need to decide whether or not to keep (namely Peanut) and some spots they still need to address with signings, trades, or draft.

Yeah I'm happy about Revis but would like to see a lot more done to upgrade the roster.

Re: Nfl offseason
Glad to see that the Packers signed Peppers. Stupid move on Chicago's part since now we'll have to face him twice a year. And I'm still bitter they didn't resign Josh McCown. They've needed a good backup QB the last couple years with Cutler spending so much time on the bench and McCown did awesome last year. Guess that role now goes to Jordan Palmer, who will probably be as fail as Caleb Haine, Todd Collins or Jason Campbell.
Although, on the plus side, they did resign Peanut.
