Nfl offseason moves
Lots of shaking up in the league already.
Denver scoring big with Wes Welker and Rodgers Cromartie, Terrance Knighton DT from jax
Miami pulling in the biggest wr free agent fish in Mike Wallace
Seahawks making some nice moves bringing in Percu Harvin and Cliff Avril
Pats pick up Danny Amendola to try to fill Wes Welker's slot
Many other moves have been made and many more will be made. Good to see some shuffling in the nfl.
Looking for more action and I hope the Pats make some more moves in the coming weeks.
Draft is 42 days away.

Yeah, and then we let Reggie Bush get away to the Lions.
We're going to suck once again!
Go (to hell) Dolphins!

Re: Nfl offseason moves
I'm pretty interested in what I see so far.
I like that the Lions are working on shoring up some issues they have and that the Bears are working on TE and OL, their Achilles heal for a couple years. It's also nice to see the Viking lose their top receiver and that Jennings is at least shopping the market, fingers crossed that GB takes that hit.
My main concern with the Bears is Urlacher. While he has been injured a lot and not the same monster he was, I'd like to see him close out his career as a Bear so that they can get and train a replacement MLB and for what he brings to the table as a leader and captain.
Outside the Norse I'm liking what I see. Anytime the Pats take a hit is a good day to me. Sorry about the loss for the Fins Klown, I wish the Bears didn't have to deal with Bush twice a year. I think Boldin to the 49ers might make them a lock for SB champs, especially since the Ravens want to dismantle their team, I think they're dropping like 5 Pro Bowlers.
Got Mike & Mike on to catch up and we'll just have to see what happens today.

Probably going to be the steal of the season, I don't see anyone being able to top that.

Re: Nfl offseason moves
They had the best wide receiver to ever play the game right???
At least that's what Moss called himself. Eventhough there was this "one guy" that actually wore the SF 49ers uniform and played the receiver position. How can you say you're better than that guy?
It's like me playing for the Bulls then saying I'm the best shooting guard of all time .

Re: Nfl offseason moves
I've been trolling nfl.com and saw some interesting stuff on the Bears:
1.) Hester is not going to be used as a reciever, rather he'll be a specialist. They'll replace him with Alshon Jeffery. For those of you that don't know he was a rookie last year and he's a big, fast receiver, just like a young Brandon Marshall, who they'll line up on the other side.
2.) Trestman has green-lighted Cutler for the read-option. I like this idea if the TE they signed turns out to be useful (he was a solid receiver and blocker for NYG) and if they get an offensive line. If they can protect Cutler, their deep threats with Marshall and Jeffery, middle threats with the TE and Bennett, and the running game can make this a viable option and not just a gimmick, especially since Cutler can run.
3.) Oh yeah, they cut Urlacher. Not sure this will be as devastating as everyone thinks since he's older, he's injury prone, he's started to lose his ferocity and intimidation ability, and they'll free up money to get other players they really need (ie an O-line). That being said, they got rid of Nick Roach so now they have no true MLB but they could still sign or draft somebody there and then have Briggs or Peppers call the plays for the defense.
