So I cracked and bought the premium service and so far I am enjoy all the new maps. Some of the remakes of the bf3 maps Are really good. Operation metro is a must play. I feel like this game is going to be played by me for a while so I am happy to have paid some extra cash for something like 20 extra maps. Plus you get some really good battle packs and a goodie every week.

I bought premium originally and then got it refunded back to me from MS once it got to the point that it was so bad I couldn't even play.  Got my refund but they never removed premium from my account.  Smile

Same thing with a friend of mine.  Unfortunately after that I really haven't played much but he still does and is still getting all the benefits of premium.  It really is a great game when it works.

I have had zero problems with the game on the ps4 side. Hopefully they get it fixed for xbo players as well. It is the most fun I have had with a shooter since mw2

I'm sure it's much better now.  I haven't played in over a month.

Is anyone else getting the Premium for PS4.  I've thought about picking it up but I don't want interest to wane after I buy it like it did on the 360.  I got it on the 360 and then everyone stopped playing except Wonky, Zals, and me.

Also, I forgot how this works, do you get a discount on the DLC or do you get it for free?

There are no problems on the XB1.  It was fixed months ago.

I am on the fence about Premium.  I'm considering it but not sure at this point.  Generally I hate programs like that.  I paid $60 for the game.  Force fed DLC planned way before the game launches bugs me on a personal level.  That said, I am really enjoying the game and playing a lot.  We'll see.

@S7 Interseptor, I was the same way but then I bought it and when they delayed the second assault DLC for PC and PS4 (I was playing PC at the time) and worked on fixing more of the core game issues as well as worked on the DLC issues, it made for a really smooth release. I think that now is a good time to buy it to be honest or at least pick it up when the next DLC drops here in a month or so now that the major game issues have been worked on and fixed.

Well not really "free" it is just them all bundled and you get to save like 10$ instead of buying them individually. The only thing you get that others don't that buy them individually are the camos and dog tags. I would say even if you plan on buying all of the DLC at some point, just buy the premium, save a few bucks, and get the cool little extras that come along with it.

I'm thinking the same thing as Zak, just not sure if I want to pull the trigger.  I know I'll be playing BF4 for a long time but there's other games coming out in the next couple months that will demand my time.

New DLC announced is Naval Strike - http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4/expansion-packs/naval-strike

Nom, nom, nom... OP boats are delicious!  I tell you, I grow closer and closer to getting Premium every day.  I really love this game and I am started to get tempted to buy.

Kinda thinking the same thing.  Naval battles and heli-mines, win.  Not to mention that Titan mode sounds interesting.  If of couple of the PS4 guys get this I might just have my hand forced.

Still wrestling with the premium decision.  Just not sure I will play this even the limited amount I have been once Titanfall drops.

At least I don't have to make that decision.  Just have to decide if I'll use it.  Still have a couple months before another game I want to play comes out.

Anyone with Premium, have you started unlocking guns or being able to do the assignments that are coming with Naval Strike?

If anyone has premium for pc and is willing to let me use their orgin login to download the dlc id appreciate it. I think something is wrong on their end, after logging in my xbox profile it now says i have everything unlocked for the pc version but its not giving me an option to download the dlc.
