I'd count on 3d support before external hdd.  Glad they are adding battery indicators as that was dumb to release it without em.  Actually seeing a list of what I downloaded would be nice.  Like an homage to what didn't need fixing before... this is the future of gaming, I guess.

Funny how so much of what is in the patch are features that were on the 360.

If you remember, the 360 was nothing like it is now when it first came out. I mean NOTHING like it is now. So it's the same thing happening. Be patient.

Not a matter of impatience. Just making an observation. The fact that the 360 was updated over time is irrelevant. The fact that basic features were not included but were present in last gen is mildly amusing.

I agree with zals. I read this stuff and im like wtf the 360 can already do this. I had a chance to check out my bro xb1 last weekend and I was less then impressed. Not being able to resize the tv window and not being able to adjust the tv sound independently is a huge fail imo. I dont even think ill hook mine up to the cable if they don't fix that. But hey the xbox finally can do the only thing that the playstation did better and thats play blurays. Both of the new consoles interfaces kinda sux imo

I don't know man. Don't get me wrong, I don't own any M$ stock or get a penny from a XB1 sales-- but it just seems like you guys maybe nit-picking a bit.

To complain that this completely different system doesn't do what the old version does is nit-picking. If you're in love with the present features stay with the 360.

The point of the list is come back in a few months OR years and see how much improved this one will be. You have to start somewhere and nothing you own is completely 100% perfect day one off the lot. Not even your car, it's why you go back for recalls occasionally. Give it a break. Don't look for an excuse to go PS4, Just go PS4. Do you say, my brakes where fine on my 2013 Tundra. Why did you screw them up on the 2015. Completely different truck, weight, frame, height, body, exterior, etc. You now have to account for the measure of velocity is distance divided by time (fps), stated as feet per second. The measure of acceleration (or deceleration in this case) is feet per second per second. That assumes a reasonably good co-efficient of friction. No, you don't care...you get the recall and let that be that.

So you would be ok with a new car that didn't tell you how many miles you had on it or how much gas you have left? if you are going resort to long winded analogies at least use one that is more applicable to subject at hand.

ok, perhaps on my 2015 Tundra the gauge isn't completely accurate with the digital read out. But no fear, a quick recall (i.e. software update) to the Tundra's computer system will get me all squared away. I don't complain and b1tch that my old truck at least told me correctly how much gas I had. I go to the dealer, he says it's free (just as the XB1 update is) so it's no pain...get it and go.

I hear what your saying Klown but don't agree.  So very basic features such as data storage management very just left out. I know at this point there isn't a ton of an issue with having to delete saved games or games dl on the hd but that's not really the point.  I think it's like saying hypotheticly your brand new Mustang can't sync blue tooth on your phone to your cars radio because they left out that software ability. The hardware is there and It was there in you 2013 model but they were saving the software for an update.
Yeah it's minor and not a huge deal but kind of like the didn't really think it through and take the time for the minor details. Almost like some one at ms had a major face palm moment.

I think they just wanted to compete and get the hardware out same time as Sony. BUT don't be confused, Sony is going through update issues themselves!

So it's just a matter of waiting until they can correct the small things like you said. In the meantime the hardware that we have is pretty bad ass and I don't care how many PS4 articles you read down playing the Xbox...it's pretty sweet. Believe me!!

That's my point- no reason to upgrade if it's not better than the 360. That's why I choose Xbox fist over Playstation is for the total experience, and that does not mean graphical power. Hell, the PS3 was always more powerful than the 360, but the 360 to me offered a better overall experience. I do feel the XBox One UI was rushed to make the deadline and not let Sony get the lead, but I fail to see why the things implemented were not better on the One than the 360 or even the same. I know they need to make them "different" but they should still be as good. I'm not knocking my purchase, and for strictly playing games it's perfectly fine. I would still have the One over the PS4 as I mentioned before- it's for the overall experience which to me includes playing with friends and I'm not going to leave them behind for the $100 difference. I too feel like this is only the beginning, and we will be getting big things from our XBox Ones in the future.
