Further fuel to the fire that I've thought for a while now that the XB1 wasn't meant to be released this year...

This one actually surprises me. X1 announced a partnership with Twitch long before the PS4 (the PS4 actually only had announcement with Ustream at the time). Then the PS4 seems to add Twitch at the last minute (I figured to compete with X1). But Twitch works perfectly on the PS4. Actually it works amazingly well so I am very surprised it doesn't work on the X1. Very strange.

Not a big deal for me. I don't plan on streaming, and I don't watch streams because watching people play videogames is extremely boring to me. lol

Pretty much how I feel about it, but for those people that are into the Twitch streaming it kind of sucks.

I agree it's not a big deal. As stated in another thread my connection is not great for streaming anyway. I just found the news strange.

Yeah, definitely a bit odd. It seems like a lot of the media integration is behind schedule for Xbox. There is this, along with apps like Crunchyroll not being supported initially.
I am assuming they don't just want the apps to 'work', they want them integrated properly.
