Well so much for trying to play. Spent 45 minutes and 3 tries but each time got the infinite "launching game" spinning icon and had to dashboard each time.

Known issue. Patch inbound soon. Took me almost 3 hours to get in originally.

Didn't check crew section before, all good now I just need to get past the intro mission.

The patch is out so next time you try you should go through it no problem.

From what I read, they didn't seem 100% sure that the patch would be completely effective, hence suspending the microtransactions for in-game money. I might try it out today if the kiddo naps before I go to work, otherwise it will probably be like Monday night.
