Hadn't seen anyone talk about this so here you go.
If you did, sorry for the repost. Apparently I missed it.

I remember it being discussed and for the most part everybody like it. I had a problem with the way the camera handled and had to send it back to Gamefly after hardly any gameplay. I think I was the only one that had a problem issue with it though.

Yeah, I got into it and was really enjoying it until GR:FS dropped and then I haven't gotten back to it. It's on my need to finish list though, what I played was great.

Re: The Witcher 2
I just got this game and played it Sunday for about 4-5 hours. And in all that time, I only finished the Prologue! This looks to be a very long game. I'm liking it so far, but it is a bit more cinema/story than action. This might take me to November and the Xbox One (or even the release of Witcher 3 which is said to be an even longer game).

You are going to have to play it twice too. I mean if you actually want to see everything. Act 2 of the game is completely different depending on what you choose at a major branching point. Each choice takes you to a different location complete with different characters, locations, story points and missions. The game meets up again for the 3rd Act but I think things are still a little different due to choices you made.
I keep threatening to start my 2nd playthrough but have yet to do so. I should finally get to now that we are in the summer slump.

Re: The Witcher 2
How long as your first playthrough? I don't think it will be an issue to play it again due to the enjoyment of the game (it doesn't look like it will get old), but might be due to the length and amount of free time.

I started this one last summer and then got into GR:FS and then the fall games and never got back to it. From what I played it was a fantastic game.

I think it was around 40-60 hours. I'll try to check and let you know.

Re: The Witcher 2
I finished the game up last week, and it was very good. I'm looking forward to the next one, but don't know that I'll playe this one again to do the "second path". I did play a lot of saves making decisions both ways, but the one on who you follow is obviously too big to do that in just a few minuites (or even hours) and would require pretty much an additional play through. Cool game, and not as long as I feared. The first half seems long, but then it gets clicking and I not too bad. I wouldn't say it was longer than Skyrim by any means, but I hear part 3 is going to be insanely long.
