E-Class Builds
I put together a '65 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Stradale and when I benchmarked it it kicked back:
0-60 ~ 8 sec
0-100 ~ 18 sec
Top ~ 131.6 mph
Lat Gs ~ .74-.76
When I tested it on Road Atlanta I came into the S-curve after the back straight at about 121-123 mph. It still needs a lot of tuning (only adjusted PSI and gearing) but this seems to be the best build I've got for right now.

Nice numbers. Beware the Thunderbird. Interceptor can tell you how much it loves to eat feet. Nom nom.

ROFLOL! "Look at dem feet!"
Not sure I will use it but the Thunderbird is a beast on Road Atlanta. It will hit 132 on the back straight! Stats were something like this:
0-60 - 7.5sec
0-100 - 17sec
Top - 141mph
Lat G's - .70-.75
It slides a bit much and you pretty much have to rely on it's power to get you through but on tracks like Road Atlanta it destroys. I got a 1:47.100 clean in testing last night.
Other than that I have a few builds that look promising. The Alfa Spyder and Alfa Montrael both look pretty good so far but I basically fell asleep tuning last night so I really have to get back and take a good look before I know what I am doing. I'll post up more stuff as I really get into the build.

I'll probably just run my Citroen C1 again. Much more testing this time around though! It was painful in the last race.

I will be racing a lot now that the new season is up and running. I would be happy to test some cars out anytime. Just hit me up.

Sweet deal, I'm just waiting on a cable to come in. Once I'm setup at my computer desk I'll be on WAY more. That should be today or tomorrow.

Sweet! I am really getting back into Forza and I would love to see a few more guys on in between game/tourney nights. The more time you put in the better you will be on race day.

Re: E-Class Builds
I'm probably gonna tweak my C1 too. I liked it in the F class cuz it was glued to the track but it needs some balls to catch people. I'm also lookin at the Montreal too. I started with the Giulia because it was like 20pts lower and I wanted to see if I could make good use of the extra points. Now I want to see what I can do with the Montreal, since it starts with a little more power.

Re: E-Class Builds
I'm currently eyeballing the '40 Ford Coupe, 79 Camaro and '53 Beetle. I may even rebuild the vette for E class just to see how it might work. Oh, and there's a twisted little Austin Healey that OC found a couple weeks ago that's got a very stupid 0~100 time around 16sec.
Re: E-Class Builds
That's a petty nice 0-100. It should be good to see what everyone brings to the tourney and how well we can polish up the turds.

Re: E-Class Builds
Had a great time testing E class cars tonight. Too bad Cryptic's friend messed with that one race but I got a good idea of how my cars will fare in their current setups.
Only ran the '65 Stradale once but it fared ok. I would have preferred to race it with some more cars because I really can't compete with Apex and Atrum so it's hard to tell how it would really do. It seemed to run well be we'll have to see how my other cars pan out.
I think my leading ride is my '40 coupe. Thanks for the tune Apex. I'll have to play around with it a bit more because that's probably my second fastest tune for that car. I like the feel of it so I hope with some work I can get it to my fastest tune.
I did end the night playing around with the '53 Bug and that's a really fun car to drive. I like the feel about as much as the '40 coupe but it's so much lighter so I'll have to be aware of that in traffic. I've put together a great paint that needs a tiny bit of work to make it perfect.
I'm looking forward to another practice night and it would be nice to see some more people there so we can get a better feel for our cars.

Hey man, sorry I should have told him that you were trying for best times. That kid can be pretty annoying, but hopefully he didn't mess with you guys too much after I left.

He was going backwards in the track... He left after that race though.

Re: E-Class Builds
Yup, another S7 practice run that was well worth the effort. It may have been unscheduled but it let me know that my Ford Coupe is NOT for racing. It loves to "eat feet, nom nom, but only if we end up on Road America will it be worth the time.
The pearl pink Beetle will get the most love and attention from my tuner's repertoire. I'll try to get some more times posted on the club leader boards so we can all make the E-Class more of a nail biter.

Meh, he seemed to really just want us to open a drift room and when we passed on that he bailed.

I've got my fast car nailed down. Going to see if I can put the time in to make it viable on short tracks.

De Luxe Coupe has 3 gears and mad speed and its built like a brick shithouse so try and rub some paint with that beast and see if she don't pit you or put you into the wall.

Its not my T-Bird...
Re: E-Class Builds
It is my T-Bird. It's not that fast but it is a little ridiculous on a straight. In all seriousness I will not be racing it. Right now I have it narrowed down to the 71' Skyline GT-R and the old convertible Jag.

I believe I've narrowed my choices down to the 77 Firebird or the 79 Camaro. American Muscle...baby.
I need to do some work on them and get some road tests in.

Hit me up any time. I am playing a lot of Forza lately so I would be happy to help out or do some test races.

Oh god these tourneys are slowly turning in to "let's get a drag car and keep it on the track long enough to find a straightaway"
I'll see you guys in my little smart cars/tuners! Lol

Re: E-Class Builds
I like to find a fast car that has a good feel to it. the T-Bird was terrible and impossible to keep on the track. It got scrapped. The Jag and GT-R are fast, but not that fast. I have definitely moved away from the hyper handling cars. But I like to find a car that fits in the middle. Maybe a little on the faster side.
