Hm, that's unfortunate. I would have liked them to write a better story for Shepard. However, I get it, Shepard's story was a trilogy, let's move on. It still hurts though.

I think it'd be cool to play through a characters lifetime. Start out as a kid on a colony (any race) and do choices that change what you are (mercenary, solider, etc). ME was cool because of how the choices changed your game. Having a full lifetime covered with massively different outcomes would be cool.

I still need to play the 3rd one. I hear from everyone that the ending was utter crap, but the people who are making the game decide how a story goes, not the people who play it who are bitching because they were expecting something different. If an author publishes a book and the readers are "saying, sorry but, your ending sucks, change it" ... I don't see that happening. Very silly.

Yeah, not really news. They have said for a while that ME3 was the end of the Shepard Trilogy. I am just interested to see the direction they go with the ME franchise. Are they going to do a prequel? or a direct follow up to how things left off? Will the ending of ME3 effect ME4? Should be interesting to see how they approach it going forward. Especially with the two big heads at Bioware leaving. I will be following it closely.
