S7R Forza 4 B-Class Tourney - Season 1

I'm glad this isn't tomorrow, I wouldn't be turning up. It's been the first week at my new job and it's a 12 hour day...for now (inc. travel) and I'm still getting acclimatised to the energy required.

I am not anywhere near ready myself. I really need to put in some work over the next week.

CRAP! I just realized that the way things came together with my work schedule I'm working the 29th until 11pm, so I guess I'm out for this tourney. I guess I'll have to start working on A-class cars for the following tourney. Good luck to everyone that fields a car.

I think we call these 1st world problems. Wiggles, I've been on my PC lately as well. Also on my PS3 playing Rocksmith.

I actually stopped playing WoW like 4 years ago and KP got me back into it to "prepare for D3" so once that comes out i'm sure I wont be the only one sucked into that

How does WoW prepare you for D3? Lol

-Yes, that is the company that makes them. Nike makes basketball shoes and womens sports bras. Should you use both?

-Ok, so does every other mmo? Though I wouldn't call Diablo an MMORPG by any means.

-A PC can also play gay porn? So fail there.

-So I should play FFVII to prepare for D3? Since you know, it has characters and classes.

That being said I have no problem with either, but don't go passing off playing some garbage MMO as 'preperation' for diablo 3. Unless you're going to play with a group that is currently on WoW, but will be active in D3. In whcih case, valid.

It has come to my attention that this Thursday... I may not make it.

In preparation for my wife's party, out of town friends will be flying in that evening. It will be a little awkward for me to be in a tourny while they're in the house. Please mark me down for tentative.

Well, I am just getting over the flu that I have had for the last week and I am totally unprepared for this Tourney but I am also very excited to be getting back to it. Anyone else looking forward to this Tourney? I really hope we have a good turnout.

Prepared at all? I was more prepared for the ME3 ending than this.

I'll try to break away from Mass Effect and my PC long enough to get some prep in.

I don't know if I'll be there or not. Sleep is a rare commodity now that I'm working =/

I am ready for thurs night I already have my car ready I am going with my Nissan Slivia Club K's since I'm still new I only have a selected few. since I'm back im gonna say sorry in advance for any hits or wrecks lol.

I have a few cars I started I need to get back to tweak the tunes and test them more to see wich one I will go with. Then paint and get it race ready.

While I'd rather be racing I'm unfortunately going to be working. Good luck to everyone and hopefully I'll be able to make the A-class tourney.

I am sorry to hear it Puppet. I would offer to put it off but we already pushed the B-Class Tourney back once. That said, if we don't get at least 6-8 people I will push it back. I hope we get a good turnout.

I know. I had to work the night of the soccer tourney (two weeks ago) so I still would have missed it. However, if by some chance you can't run it, I'll be off the next Thursday and Friday so I should be good to go then. I haven't even really touched Forza since the last tourney so I'll need to dust off my copy and throw together some cars, but if tomorrow night doesn't work I'll try to get on that asap.

Hopefully you guys get some more racers. Right now there's 6 of you that have listed your track picks, although I don't think Glock and Chippy have weighed in so you might be up to 8 if they do. Maybe it might be time to spam the names in Forza's March roll call to see if anyone's free. I think I saw racecardriver, Sticky, and Maverick all listed on roll call but they haven't posted up track picks. Happy racing gentlemen.

Indeed. I sent out a message on XBL as I normally do. Hopefully we will have a normal turnout.

Also, I did some racing/painting/tuning last night and I am still not really happy with the EVO X I have built. I starting building more cars late last night and I think I have some real potential winners but now I don't know if I will have time to get them tuned/painted and tested before the Tourney tonight. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens after work tonight. Either way, the EVO should be competitive so I guess it's all good.

I think my midweek Forza 4 career is over =( Bed at 3:30am and getting up at 6:30am for a 12+ hour day isn't going to be doable for me. The job is tiring enough as it is...

I would take the day off since it's a friday but I don't have any holidays built up and I can't be doing that for every race anyway. I get 25.5 days off and 5 of those are for a mandatory xmas break. So, if I want a 2 week vaction, thats six for the rest of the year... -_-*

Next friday is a bank holiday, so I'll get that off, so maybe we can have a JFF tourney or something, who knows?

That sucks Epic. Maybe we can look at changing our official Forza day once again. Sometime on the weekend perhaps? I would be fine moving it to Fridays or Saturdays personally (Saturdays would work better for me since my kids have baseball games on Friday nights). We should open up a new topic and discuss it. See what everyone has to say and if it works out we can move the date for future events.

That said, tonight will still be a GO if we have a good turnout. Everyone who can make it should show up by 8:30pm. See you guys tonight.

I vote for pushing it back 2 weeks... we're missing people at work and they could really use me to cover tonight and i could use the $$
