Interest and Ideas for 2012 Madden League

There's been some thoughts thrown around about setting up and running a intra-clan Madden league, as a result of the renewed interest from the Madden Tourney. I've heard how the online leagues work (from the Madden Tourney thread) so I have a vague idea of how it works. I'm not sure who all would be interested and who would like to Commissioner the league and get everything running if there's enough interest. If you're interested or have any ideas, please post up in here. I think we probably have enough people that we could make this really interesting.

I'm definitely in and willing to run the league. I've done leagues in the past where we've given out the end of season awards for MVP etc...this way if you didn't happen to win the super bowl you still have the chance to win an award for your play.

Count me in. As far as ideas, is there a way we can do a draft? Or would we just pick a random team for each week?

Count me in, and as far as ideas I'm fine with whatever DarkAgent has in mind since he's been there before and knows how it's done.

I'm game for whatever the group would want. I liked the fantasy football league and the Madden Tourney with the S7 crew so I'm pretty sure that a Madden league would be just as good.

We could do a fantasy draft...the only problem with that is it literally takes 3 hours to complete. I've done plenty in the past and it adds a whole new twist because you kinda need to be strategic about how you draft. That is of course if we go down that route...

the only thing with a draft league.... the last couple i've been in there is always at least 2 people that b1tch and quit because they had a sh1tty draft or didn't prerank people correctly etc

However... i love the draft process etc and have zero problem with a draft league

And I'm guessing the draft would have the options of auto draft or live draft like fantasy football? I'd be down for either option.

Yeah you can pre-rank your players if you can't showup for the live draft. It's much better if everyone shows up

I'm down for it and idea wise I'm down for whatever you guys choose I just wanna play madden again

TBH, I prefer the whole pre-ranking process... I just can't sit through a draft, makes me wanna kill myself

The less drafting the better as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather just pick a team and play.

This is how I usually play when I run a franchise or season by myself but I'd be up for anything.
