Or, wait...no? Mr. Raymond Padilla caught a glimpse of the mythical creature over on his blog site, RPAD.tv, and captured the above screen before it was taken down from Gamestop's online store.

Say what you will about Gamestop, but they're pretty accurate when it comes to release dates. We previously saw 250GB HDD bundles with Modern Warfare 2 last November and next with Final Fantasy XIII, but this is the first I hear about a standalone hard drive add-on.

$130 was the price for 120 gigs, will more than double the space for the same price convince you to upgrade this time around?

It's about time Microsoft , went up on storage space and down on price! Prob get one when amazon gets them. I'm still rolln' with the 20g and no hdmi 360

you know all the 360 HDD is a laptop drive inside a casing, you could buy an IDE laptop drive off of say like newegg as big as you want and when you turn on your system with the drive the 360 will automatically format it. its that simple.

and hope that it your box doesn't notice a different signature from it and ban your box from xbl for modding

Yeah I think Glocks right IDK if you did it now would it ban you but I remember with the fall update anyone with modded memory card's and HDD's but I don't know if that ever happen either since I still know ppl with them but it's risky.

I have an 120 gig that I made. I definately was not as easy as putting it in there and having the xbox format it. It took hours of focking around with it.

I am still rocking the 120 and am not even close to filling it up so I am going to hold on this one. Right now the 120 is a must if you have the 20.

I've got the 120GB...most of my media is on an external TB drive attached to my computer. I just stream what I need to my Xbox using Xbox connect or Vuze...still, it would be nice to have a bigger HD for most people. Esp since imho HD downloads are a better option than having a blue ray player. Disks are so 20th century. MS eventually needs to start making TB drives for Xbox (prolly future version) so people can better rock HD content.

I hear you there J I have a 250GB and I'm down to 151GB but thats causeI install my games to save some wear and tear on it the disc drive but they really need a TB that would make stuff so much better.

It's nice but I just cleared a crap load of map packs and old games I don't play anymore and have gained 50gigs and now stand around 80+gigs. It would be nice if MS went the way of PS3 and you could upgrade your harddrive anytime you wanted without penatly
