I didn't do any pre-ranking either. I let the cookies fall where they may. The beauty is that over the long days of summer there will be trades. I took off keepers, and whoever has Pujols-- he would have been a keeper and no drop/trade would have been allowed. But now a person can clear a few spots get two three position players or pitchers for a pujols. I prefer there be no restrictions.

Anyone that plays fantasy baseball, watches MLB knows the impact of certain players (hence the keepers rule) but if you're willing to be bold you can get a lot for someone that may/may not put up big numbers this year.

I know when I played there was only one DL spot when you didn't have anyone on the DL. It was more of a placeholder, since you can only put a player on there if they're injured.

OC throw me some trades also are you even playing this season 0-5 you better pick up the pace.

Yes I have been paying attention to that. Heres the story. The red sox have a young stud who plays 3rd and has been doing very well his name is Will Middlebrooks. Between him and Alex Gonzalas at 1st the now often injured Youkilis sort of became the odd man out. Can't DH him Big Papi is on playing very well. So with all things going the way they are the Red Sox decided they need to trade Youk to clear out some stress and make room for a young stud to develop fully. I don't like it because as you know I like Youk because he plays hard and has been good. But I do agree with that trading him was the sox only option I just wish they got better in return than a utility guy and a so so pitcher.

Yeah, they kinda got the short end of that deal. Besides, I'm a Cubs fan and anything that make my dad's White Sox better is garbage in my mind.

Okay, my eyes are returning to the normal white color and no longer the red from crying myself to sleep. I guess it's time to exhale and give my impressions. I personally think the Yankees had a great season. With all of the injuries that they had, they still fought off Oakland and Baltimore to catch the Rangers and finish with the best record again in the AL. They beat the Orioles tough pitching. And in games 1-3 of the series against the Tigers, Detroit didnt really hit that much better than NY. I think having lost Jeter, all of the other injuries and the seemingly long season left them exhausted for game 4. Not to make an excuse for A Rod trying to pickup a model during the series and getting benched, but there were a number of reasons we lost this year. CC tried yesterday but had the worst outing since 2007 with 10-11 hits against and 5 earned runs or something crazy like that. The yanks hadn't been swept in years!! The bats just got cold at the wrong time...period. No one could hit anything. I mean this was a team that led all of major league baseball with the most homeruns w/245 or so for the yr. and had 95 regular season wins. There may need to be a few changes this offseason, but I would not bet against this team next year and look forward to spring training to see how we reload. But, that's the way it works when you've won 27 World Series (more championships than any team, in any sport in the world) expectations are always high.

Yep, I’m now pulling for the Cards. The Yankees struggled through that Baltimore series, but once Jeter when down against Detroit, and they ended up loosing game 2, I was afraid they would be done. He was just about the only once playing well (besides Raul – I thought he was going to do it again in game 3), and no one could pick up the slack. Thier pitching was pretty good, it was just the bats that went cold. As a baseball fan you know how streaks go, and it’s bad to be cold at the end of the year just like its good to be hot. The Cardinals are hot at the right time again this year, just like last. They should give the Tigers a good run if they can continue the hot streak and get past Frisco.
