Fantasy Baseball 2015
So spring training is under way and its basically baseball season. Who's down for joining a fantasy baseball league? Last year we did an espn leauge auction style. It was fun and I'm down for that agian or a regular draft style leauge.

Always interested! Let me know the who, what, when, where, and how.
I usually belong to 4-5 leagues per season.

I'm in but I didn't care for the auction draft too much.

I'm just the new guy but I love fantasy sports and if you have room for me I'd love to join you. I prefer auction drafts personally. I run a 6x6 roto baseball league every year in addition to a football league.

Doesn't matter to me either OC, just do whatever feels right and send me an invite. I'll play regardless.

I'd kinda be interested but it's been years since I've done fantasy baseball because it seemed to require a ton of managing each week. Thoughts?

Depends on if you have daily or weekly lineups. Weekly lineups are nice because you can just set them on the weekend and you don't need to do anything until the next week. You'd still want to keep an eye on waiver claims or injuries throughout the week but it isn't quite as demanding as daily lineups.

I think we did daily and that was way too much work, just didn't have the time or drive to put in that much effort.

Ok here is the link to join
I fudged with the settings a bit to at fielding stats as I think it's a big part of the game. I couldn't find anything about weekly rosters on espn. Still hope you join.
Draft is set for April 4th at 10:30 pm est. I hope that works for every one because in not sure if I can change it so I highly recommend preranking your draft board incase you can't make it.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2015
I'll probably try to get into it. Any guess on how many will be in the league? I might be out of town draft night, but I'd be fine with pre-ranking or default rankings.

Right now there are only 4 who have shown interest but it's set for 12 teams so everyone is welcome.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2015
I always have trouble filling out my baseball league, so what I do is create a public league and make sure everyone I want to join gets in the league immediately after I create it and then let other random people join. Since I'm trying to make sure I get enough people to join I usually keep the categories pretty vanilla. If you wanted to get cute, you could create a sacred 7 league and use seven offensive and seven pitching categories. I think the lineup option is under the transactions and keepers tab.

Only 3 teams so far...with the draft on Saturday? Are we going to try and fill it with randoms?

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2015
I think I would start to lose interest after a few weeks. If we could get at least a 50/50 mix then that might be doable for a 10 team league.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2015
I dunno if you guys have ever tried the ESPN baseball challenge but it's like the new dfs leagues that they do where you have x number of cap dollars and you have to fill out a squad of players. We could all do teams on there and all get in the same group, it would sorta be like doing a league but with lower effort required.
