Good. I'm not for killing any tradition, but some realignment would help. Now the AL west, and every division in MLB will have 5 teams. To me that even makes it a bigger rivalry with the Rangers, as now every game they play is going to be a divisional battle- that can only be good for both teams right?

Yep, love it!
Been watching Hot Stove on MLB Network every day/night. Never change the channel in the bedroom (which ticks off the wife) but I've been following and can't wait until the season start months from now as always.

The Astros are moving to the AL?

You know what this means right? All the AL power hitters will be aiming for the short fence in LF.

Yeah but some of the other things that came about for next year are lame: the new wild card one game series and the lack of hgh testing.

Yeah, I kinda like the idea myself. Plus it's about getting more fans interested and it adds the one game win/lose excitement factor.

It's garbage and it can ruin the season of a team that belongs in the playoffs because some partially decent team is able to beat them. Teams have bad days and a team that should be in the playoffs shouldn't get booted because they have a bad game against a team that doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs.

Like I said its not really about that but adding excitement and more viewers....sorry. If a team is good and battling all year they won't have much to worry about it in my opinion. If they are on the bubble after 162 games blame yourself and at least you still had a shot.

I maybe viewing this wrong but right now that's my take. I will look into it more and the consequences as the season begins/progresses and make a more informed opinion at that time.
