S7 Forza 4 BREAKOUT Tourney

Forza 4 is here and it is better than anyone could have hoped! Better in every way than it's predecessor. More cars, more tracks, better graphic and better physics. To put it plainly, this game just rocks. This also marks a new chapter for the S7 Racing division. The start of a new tradition and the beginning of what should be several seasons of racing. So, to kick things off we are doing a BREAKOUT Tourney! This is just for fun and to get to know the new game. There are no points to be had and your finish here will not effect your season standing. Just good old fashioned fun. Details are below. I hope to see everyone there and Good Luck.

OK, so here we go again. Welcome to the first official Tourney of Forza 4. For those of you new to the division/clan I'll explain a little. The Forza division is one of our strongest in the clan. We are very active and generally hold inter-clan Tourneys about every two weeks. Details are given and everyone builds a car (or cars) for that event. We meet up and go head to head to see who wins. Each Tourney is generally 7 races back to back and the person with the most overall points at the end of the night wins. We do our best to race clean and It's a lot of fun.

For this Tourney we are going to be racing any and all the new tracks we can. It's going to be a great way to get to know these new tracks and a good way to help keep everything even. Everyone will be on the same footing in terms of track knowledge and it should make for some great races. As for the car? Well, we are also going to race mostly new cars to Forza with Stock tuning. This means you will not have to worry about tuning a car. All you have to do is show up ready to race. We will change cars with every race and cover several different classes. It should be really fun and a good chance to get to know what's new with Forza 4.

P.S. Remember, Forza 4 now allows for up to 16 players to race at a time so everyone who shows up will get a chance to race. Qualifying should not be necessary.

Here are the details for this event:

This is a BREAKOUT Tourney and the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday November 10, 2011
Time: We will start gathering at 8:30pm. Races will start no later than 8:45pm Eastern Time
Car Class: Multi (Classes will be picked for each race)
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Random - New tracks only
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD(depending on track length and car class)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points at the end of the night will be our BREAKOUT Tourney Champion. You will receive a trophy in the official Forza records and maybe even some prizes!

This is going to be awesome. Just need a clarifications, I'm pretty sure you're planning on Thursday November 10th not Friday November 11th. If it's on Thursday, I'm so in, otherwise I work Friday night and won't be able to attend. This is gonna be fun!

That's going to be the last that I'll see most of you guys then, huh? Everyone's getting Skyrim and will be playing that non-stop starting that Friday.

I will still play Forza on Thursday nights and BF3 an what ever night we decide for that. But otherwise, yes I will be spending a lot of time in SKYRIM!!!

I guess I need to be getting in all the gaming I can with all of you fanboys since you'll pretty much cease to exist then.

I too will be Sustaining myself with skyrim for a month or so.

Meh, it's going to be stock cars on only the new tracks so as long as you're vaguely familiar with the new tracks you should be good.

I just realized that this is scheduled for Thursday 11/10/11. Is this going to effect anyone planning to get SKYRIM!!! at midnight? It should be over by 10:30 eastern (give or take).

But you're right, we should be done early enough since we probably won't have to qualify (with 16 spots to race).

Well, I realized it was the day before SKYRIM!!! But I did not think about midnight release since I get mine delivered to work.

Gotcha, guess the fanboys won't be able to be first in line if they're on EST.

Yeah, buddy, this should be fun. I haven't been behind the wheel in like 3 or 4 weeks. Everyone bring your A-game so that you can make my F-game look utterly fail!

Been playing forza a pretty stupid amount, should be a great tourney.

I won't be able to make it. I have a rained-out soccer game that is rescheduled for Thursday at 7:30 central.

Fail Coolhand! Unfortunately, I have not been able to put the time into this one. I am going to be easy pickings in this Tourney. Really interested to see how this works out.

Yeah, i've not played all that much, either. So, will definitely be interesting....especially considering it'll be multi-class stock cars.
