DirecTV Might Drop Fox Cable Channels
This may be old news to some of you but I just saw the ad today on tv.
That means no more FX with Sunny in Philly and SOA, nor NatGeo nor regional Fox Sports on DirecTV. They are still in negotiations, but who knows how it will end.
DirecTV Might Drop Fox Cable Channels
Sides exchange charges ahead of Nov. 1 deadline

Fox says that DirecTV is threatening to pull the plug on its national and regional cable networks on Nov. 1 unless a new carriage fee agreement can be reached.
In a statement on a site set up by the satellite provider, DirecTV CEO Mike White says that Fox parent News Corp. "has demanded that DirecTV customers pay nearly 40% more for the same channels they already received. If a new deal is not reached, we will be forced to suspend the channels as early as Nov. 1."

This happens regularly with most carriers. Dish Net, Direct, Comcast, and Charter all have this happen about every six months. They will get it figured out.
