Question about Steam
For those you you who have used Steam for a while now, what happens to the games you purchased off Steam if you get a new computer? Can you DL the same titles on the new computer fairly easy, or is there some process you must go through? I just created an account to DL the free version of Portal, and have never used it as I do not really game on my laptop or PC anymore.

They are all linked to your account and stay in your 'library'. So, you just click to start redownloading them to the new computer. Couldn't be easier. Steam is AWESOME.

Yeah, Steam is amazing. Like epic said you can load steam on any computer, click library, and download. No codes, or verification needed.

Not strictly true. When moving to a new computer it will email you an account verification code to enter, but other than that, hassle free.

Hmm, It must have been so long since I did that I don't remember. I switch between laptop and PC daily for steam so must be a 1 time thing.

It's just on new systems. Once it's activated there, it's fine.
