I always ALMOST get each armored core that comes out hoping it will play like chromehounds...

I've heard of the Armored Core franchise but I've never played any of the games. They look kind of like Mechwarrior games which I really enjoyed.

Chromehounds was probably the best mech game there has been.

Armored Core plays a lot faster and more like a shooter, whereas chromehounds was slow paced. I might try renting this one at first to see if it's worth it.

Chromehounds was bad ass! Plus we dominated fools like crazy in that game. Those were some INTENSE matches that we had in that tourney. I'll never forget that.
Chromehounds 2 would be sweet or anything that could come close.
