Did you see the last episode of the new series with that GT-R? Those things are ridiculous.

Oh yes Epic... but shhhhh, don't say anything to Interseptor, since they haven't started airing season 17 in the States yet.
Oh yeah, I want that GTR

Re: Top Gear Camaro
Glock, I know you love that car and you know I think it's cool-- but not the coolest piece of ice on the block.
ALL THAT ASIDE:
Did you really listen to what he was saying? I know a lot was drowned out by the great sounding exhaust...but basically everything he said was negative starting with the Camaro being built two years after the 'Stang and was beaten badly (track, movie roles, and sales). But my favorite nugget.."The Americans (Chevy) had to go to the Australians for a bit of sophistication!" as the entire chassis and undercarriage is built by them...yeah, that's American Muscle. Gives new meaning to the Chevy Motto "Chevy runs deep" LOL I'll add... bring your boots.
I loved when they had "The American Revolution" theme. The first time I saw the commercial for "An American Revolution," the main featured car was the Chevy Aveo. I'm thinking to myself, "Is this the same Chevy Aveo engineered, built, and tweaked for Chevy by Daewoo, a South Korean automaker? The same Aveo that is really nothing more than a rebadged Daewoo?"
But back to the episode. After all that he's still not done...oh no...he then breaks off and starts talking about the Mercedes and how it's twice the muscle car as the Camaro? As the camera fades he leaves the Camaro in the dust. Hmm...very flattering episode.

Re: Top Gear Camaro
It does, but even though I can afford it they aren't my thing. I prefer muscle cars to luxury cars, but that's a personal opinion. Infact I'm getting my daughter a 2012 Mustang this week for her 18th birthday. Have to introduce them to the best early. My wife and I decided to buy this one from Apple Ford on Tuesday...manual tranny of course.

LOL, bought her a new Thunderbolt android phone as well.
It's not lucky, I prefer the word blessed. I know we're just a gaming clan and don't discuss those things-- but believe it or not as much as you hear me cursing I'm fairly religious and believe it's all part of being a good person and good things come back when you do all the right things in life.

Re: Top Gear Camaro
Klown I posted that up mainly for tico to watch... relax would ya
I know exactly what he is saying... he says many of the same things on the episode about the Mustang anf other American sports cars.... Big fast in a straight line and usually handle like crap.
Somehow this thread has turned into the how bad can Kown spoil his daughter thread.

Re: Top Gear Camaro
No, she deserves everything I get her and more (if I had more). I'm not spoiling them as I make them work for everything. She's working now before starting school... hard work builds character. And I'm not trying to hijack your thread...again I like the Camaro and I do watch Top Gear as well. I only pointed out that the video was negative. My only question is why would Tico need to see this, since he can walk to his driveway and live it? But it's all good Glock.
How's this? I'll make it up by giving you a better look...
Apparently chicks dig it. So it's cool:

Re: Top Gear Camaro
She's a girl SG --but if she needed to get away from something quickly she can always borrow my Super Charged Roush 427...LOL
Plus the V6 is cheaper and gets better gas milage than the GT/5.0 and with only a few "tweaks" it's basically a V8 engine if/when she decided for some reason down the line she wanted more HP. I've also seen the V6 hang with and beat some V8's before BTW.

Re: Top Gear Camaro
I have not driven one since the early 90's and the v8 only had 225 or so HP I bet the v6's have that now.
Re: Top Gear Camaro
Yeah, they come 305-hp standard-equipment. They also have the new V6 performance package nicknamed "Mayhem". Which was what I meant by only needing a few tweaks to get max HP.
