I never played the real card game, but really enjoyed the XBLA version. For $10 you can't go wrong.

I will still be getting it. Like I said, I never played the real card game, but I like the idea of knowing what the other player has in his hand to develop strategies and bluffs instead of simply preparing for all contingencies.

i'll prolly end up getting it... I did play the card game for YEARS... and its kinda nice to go back and play again....


especially nice not having to spend $1000 on a boxes of boosters hoping to get crazy random rares etc

I played the card game and had a blast but yeah it is easy to sink a lot of money in. It was fun opening packs looking for those rares though.

I have Duel of the Plainswalkers and the expansions. Will this not be another expansion or starting from the ground up? I agree with Panzer, more deck customization is needed, but I will probably buy this regardless.

Not an expansion, but a new game. I don't know what all will be different besides the decks, but for $10 it will be nice to get a load of new cards.
