Is this game worth it?

So I will be heading up to Vancouver to visit BBF lawyer, and i was wondering if homefront was worth picking up. Any opinions?

I described it to my friend last night as follows:
The first night I played it I really didn't enjoy it much. I was expecting BF and it is not that.
Second night playing I absolutely love it. It's more of a CoD + BF mix. You can go prone (drives everyone crazy in BF), but they guns aren't insta kills (a la CoD). Very fun game to play and if you know the maps you can really just dominate a team. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

Schwing, I will pick this game up Monday if they have a copy where I'm going. I was looking at some videos, and this game looks like pure win.

Yeah definitely worth it. It's been getting more and more fun for me. Getting used to the weapons/movement helps.

I picked this game up, and beat it on normal before I found out how to put it on geurilla. Pretty good game, even if the graphics look like something from the original xbox. The pistol is freakin\' own.
my only issue is that I suck at online play. Will have to work on it. Send me an invite if your on and playing!

Yeah the online takes some adjusting to. It's a nice mix between CoD and BF

I'm getting better at this game, almost all my solo matches come out with positive KDR. When is practice night? I wanna see what it's like with a team that uses tactics and communication.

Also, is it supposed to be super easy to shank people in MP? the knife almost seems heat seeking...
