Which game to buy?

Hey guys, I'm in an RPG mood and I need your help.

Should I buy The Witcher 3 or Dragon Age: Inquisition ?

Let me know your thoughts. What I've heard both ways has been good.

Dragon age sucks in my opinion, isk about Witcher 3

I've asked this same question to myself. Witcher looks way better than Dragon Age graphics and fighting style wise imo. I'm gonna pick it up today.

I got very bored of Dragon Age, but have not got far enough through the Witcher to form a good opinion on which is better.

from how many people i see on my friends list i say witcher 3 If it was my stlye of rpg i would get it but im more of a diablo theme style rpg. i bought titanquest the day witcher came out

I have both and I like the witcher better. 
If you are looking to go with a custom character and a more extensive character tree then you might like dragon age better. I think story is better from the get go with witcher where dragon age starts wierd and gets blah. I didn't finish dragon age like Matt I sort of got bored with the it. I may go back at some point. Witcher would be my recommendation.

Right on. I'm more in the mood for a good story I can get into and play through entirely. General sentiment here, and around the net points me to Witcher.

I haven't gotten far in DA and haven't played W3, but I picked DA. I preferred that series on the 360 over W2, but it's probably because I invested so much time in DA on 360 and just didn't have the time to dedicate to W2. Ultimately, I preferred SKYRIM!!! over both of them and will probably switch to ESO exclusively when that drops.

I wouldn't count on ESO being comparable to Skyrim, W3, DA, etc.
I've played quite a bit on PC and really enjoy it. But. It's an MMO. It'll never be as graphically impressive, have the intimate storyline, cool events, etc on the same scale as an RPG. Just giving you a heads up there

I know they're a different breed, but I used to play a lot of pencil and paper D&D and the original NWN on a server that my friend ran so I'm looking more for the MMO than a standard SP RPG. Part of the reason why I like playing Destiny, while the story may be a bit lacking I like getting a posse together and taking on missions, raids, strikes, and PvP events.

But for story, I really like the more and detail that went into all of the past DA games and I just stopped with this one because I didn't have the same amount of time to invest as when I did with the previous games.

That being said, I didn't play thru all of W2 and I haven't read any of the books, so I'm not as familiar with the lore of that series. I may have a different thought process if I got a chance to delve deeper into that world, but for now I'm on the DA side.

Noted sir. I think I'm going Witcher 3. I'm gonna save DA for whenever I see a killer sale on it.

I enjoy DA's multiplayer but no matter how hard I try, I can't play the single player for more than 20 mins at a time. I don't know why but it just gets way too boring for me. I haven't played Witcher yet but was thinking about picking it up sometime.

Yet another one sided opinion here.  I have not played DAI but I am loving W3. It has a lot of really deep aspects to the combat, crafting and alchemy but it's playable at pretty much any skill level. And it's pretty easy to pick up for a few mins at a time too.

Still playing DAI and enjoying it.  I plan to rent Witcher and blast through it quickly.
