Bastard! I never got a chance to go back and play anymore. Planning to finish up the SP tonight if all goes well.

Finished the SP last night at about 2:30am. All I can say is that is it freakin awesome! Great game! If you have a chance to play I highly recommend it. Great story, characters, writing, level design, puzzles etc... The really out did themselves with this one. I can't wait to play through it again. The only down side is that it is not too long. Probably about 8 hours or so on the first play through and not a lot of replayability, so you might want to rent it. But you definitely need to play it one way or the other. Fantastic!

Re: Portal 2
OK, I have now finished the Co-Op and it was frankly equally awesome. Certainly not as long as the SP but probably about 6 hours on the first playthrough but man what a 6 hour event! Portal is a great concept but co-op really elevates it to the next level. It's not just you that has to figure out what is going on. You both do and then you have to communicate to each other what the plan is. And you can't just do it by yourself. Most puzzles require both you to work cooperatively to get the job done. Plus it progresses the story beyond the end of the SP and frankly opens up the game for DLC possibilities too. You still get great writing and voice acting plus plenty of opportunities to kill your partner just for laughs. Really great stuff here. At least worth a rental for everybody. One of the best games I have played in a long time.
