Portal 2

So who's getting it? I preordered mine the other day from Amazon ($55) and got $20 amazon credit toward a future purchase. WIN. Anyone here looking to pick it up. Co-Op Portal?! How can you resist?

I will get it, but I don't know if I will at the launch. I have bought the first one twice already- once with the orange box, then the XBL version.

I have been dying for some good co-op gameplay so I am stoked to get this. I am pretty sure Magus will pick it up day 1 also.

This. I'm strapped for cash atm with way too many things planned over the next couple of months, but this game is definitely on top of my list until Skyrim.

Looks like Interseptor found a great deal- shoulda jumped on that.

The deal is still good at Amazon. $20 amazon credit with preorder. But you have to use the credit on a future purchase (not for Portal 2). Fortunately, I had a $10 credit from a similar deal when I bought Crysis 2 so I picked it up for $45 (plus the $20 future credit).

That is a good deal. I talk to my wife about it, but since I just got Homefront, Crysis 2, and Full House Poker all in the last two weeks... I dunno, she may have some choice words for me.

I'll probably play it for PC. Razer Mouse > 360 Controller.

it might be late night (or even the weekend) before I would be able to play co-op. Unless you like pausing every 10-15 minuites so I can tend to kids or something... LOL.

And many already calling it one of the years best games. Single player and 2-player co-op each with a different story. Apperantly the co-op takes place directly after the SP and continues the story. Can't wait!!! Seriously!

Exactly. I'm not sure you have to beat it to unlock co-op but from everything I have read it seems you need to beat the SP as the co-op is a direct continuation picking up after the end of the SP. At the very least you might find out spoilers etc...

Off to SP we go!

The game was pretty amazing in single player. None of the puzzles were too hard, and it was a bit linear, but still amazing. Now on to Co-Op!
