Up All Night Forza 3 Event

That's right! S7 is having it's 1 year anniversary and to celebrate we are having an "Up All Night with S7" gaming event. Full event schedule is listed below:

8-10pm will be Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 with Uncle Charles
10-12am will be Forza 3 with Interseptor
12-2am will be Halo Reach with Klown
2-4am will be Cod 4 or Zombies with Interseptor
4-6am will be Cod Black Ops with Sticky

As out part of the event I have decided to host a Nürburgring Endurance Challenge for our allotted time. This will be an epic 10 lap endurance race! S7 Members Only. Here are the details:

Date: Friday, February 25, 2011
Time: Qualifying starts at 10:00pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary) Race will begin no later than 10:30pm
Car Class: R3-Class (Stock car choice)
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Always On
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: Nürburgring
# of Races: 1
# of Laps: 10 Laps
* Standard clean racing rules apply *

Prizes - TBA but I can promise you that a prize will be given during this event

This is now a single stock car race. Everyone will be driving the same stock R3 Car. Car will be announced tonight at the event. No purchase or tuning required. If raced properly, this should take between 1 hour 10 mins to 1 hour 30 mins to complete. Due to the length of the race, pitting will be required so keep an eye on those tires and gas levels. Strap in and hold on tight because this is going to be a wild night.

We should all race the S7 porsches...

Not a bad idea Epic. I kinda like it and we'll talk about it that night and see what everybody thinks. Are those A-Class or S-Class? I can't remember.

custom cars or stock?

Right now it's up in the air. Currently it's set for any S-class car you choose but Epic is suggesting we use the official S7 Porsche Cayman S which is a car built by me (and custom painted) and tuned by Glock. It is fully race ready and available for any S7 member.

If you need one, hit me or Glock up and we can send you the info needed.

I think you guys should make "Custom" s7 paint jobs... bonus points to best in show...

Not a bad idea. May not have enough time at this point but I will be giving out at least 1 prize during the Forza time slot. And probably not to the winner of the race. I'll be looking for epic moments. Crazy wreaks, daring passes, paint jobs etc... Should be a blast.

I would love to be there for this but i dont think i will be able to get on early enough. have fun i will catch you guys later that night.

UPDATE: After the meeting last night we decided that we would all race the same car. The choice will be made from the stock choices in the R3 Class. The car will be announced tonight at the event. No purchase or tuning required. You just have to show up. Everyone will have the same car and everyone will have the same chance to win.

Sounds sweet

Are we sure we want to do simulation damage? It's fine with me I'm just thinking I've never seen a race of ours where someone doesnt wreck in the first turn, let alone first 3 laps of a normal course.
