Forza 3 Late Night Series - Event 3

Late Night Forza Series Continues...

Alright! 2 events down and 5 to go. We had a fantastic turnout last week. We even had to originally qualify! Good times and crazy races ensued and when the dust settled, Wiggles had taken the top spot for the night. We also has strong showings from Sticky, Knightowl and Middy. Special props to Middy for finishing 4th after only playing for 1 Day! That's right. He bought the game the day of the Tourney and finished 4th. Better look out for this one. Complete season standings are listed below:

I am pleased to present the "It's not a DLC" Tourney!

Welcome to our 3rd Official event in the Late Night Forza Series! This will be a single car event starring the world famous VW Bora. That's right, everybody will be required to built and tune the same car. Kinda of like a Stock Tourney but different. Everyone will start off with the same base car and then build and tune it any way they want. The only restriction is C-Class (and preferably painted Black LOL!). When all is said and done the car must be C-Class. Should be very exciting. Everyone will have the same basic car. Speed and handling will be very similar and so will damage and durability. So get out there and buy it, tune it and fix it up. Remember, the is a Full Contact event and pretty much anything goes .

(no Big Bears, no driving backwards but almost everything else is ok. Further details will be discussed at the beginning of the event.).

So that's it. Get to it! You have one week to build, tune and paint your car. See you on the battlefield...

Class: C-Class

*Qualifying, if necessary, will also be with a randomly selected track. Qualifying starts at Midnight sharp, don't be late.

All S7 Members and recruits are allowed. Especially the lat night guys. Be there!

You get 1 point for showing up for qualifying. Reggie had to step out and gave Droopy his spot, but still get's his point for showing up.

Still gotta make my car - that means I have to put Fallout down for a few minutes, which is tough. And now double xp in blops... where will I find the time!? I'll get er done though and plan to be there.

I've got 3 different bora's all tuned and painted. Should be fun.

Well, I still have to tune and paint mine. Probably get on and mess around tonight before the event.

I'm on official protest until there are mandatory manual + clutch races held. LOL, j/k I really enjoy seeing the cars and ideas you guys come up with and one night I'll bring my arse down for a race.

This is aka "People with racing wheels auto-win night"

LOL I just LOVE playing this game with the manual and clutch enabled.
It's kinda like drving manual for real, there's a special kind of "fun" to it, but to each his own...

It won't really make you win or lose the race (that's more dependent on the driver and vehicle) just gives you something to "do" instead sit there and hold down the gas and steer.

It actually makes a huge difference. I'd say around 3+ seconds per lap. I race with manual+clutch for fun when I'm doing the sp events sometimes but it messes me up when driving against other people.

Alright! We had another great Tourney last Friday night. Great turnout initially but we did run into some problems. Droopy had connection problems and opted to sit out and Kenny went Narco-sleepy before the first race started LOL! And then there were six. The rest of the night went well and positions were fought for. Crazyness, luck and good racing ensued and when the dust settled the final results looked like this...

1 Wiggles - 10pts
2 Interseptor - 8pts
3 Atrum - 7pts
4 KnightOwl - 6pts
5 Sticky - 5pts
6 Coolhand - 4pts

*(Kenny and Droopy both get 1pt for showing up)

Congratz to Wiggles for the win and Atrum and for the podium finish. In fact we had good racing and strong showings throughout. Stay tuned for the announcement of Event 4 - "I hope it doesn't rain"
