Thoughts?
The game is stated to take a drastic turn from previous installments, depicting a "grittier" and "darker" setting with animations and player damage that "truly conveys the brutality of the sport of boxing."

Thinking about it...but as a serious boxing fan I have a question. Should "Butterbean" really be on a roster under names like Tyson (youngest champ ever), Liston, Ali, and Frazier? Like them or hate them we're talking all time greats....Give me a break!

If enough people are gonna play, buy, rent it , I would be down to buy it and run some tourneys like Forza , with weight classes and even a create your one boxer tourney. I'm just on the fence about buying it because of mortal kombat coming out in april. But I plan on playing it a lot if clanmates are playing it. I'm getting burnt out on fps games. And ya butterbean shouldn't be really in the game he's weak

To be honest there are other lesser known (to me at least) fighters as well that I didn't list... so there may very well be more names that fit into his "special" (don't eat the paste) group...
and though he isn't a "Real" boxer, real in the sense of a 12 round heavyweight contender, he has brought in many casual/random fans to the sport just for the wow/wtf factor... and I'm sure that the same reason they're adding him to the game... It's that entertainment factor and for a game that's more dark and gritty I can understand why they may go to his old school Toughman roots... I mean how didn't watch those back in the day... Also, EA Sports has featured Butterbean in the past
He was also featured in the Knockout Kings Series... EA's Boxing games before Fight Night became what it is today

Having played the demo, I really like the game and the ebb and flow of the boxing, which has been massively improved. That said, it seems a lot harder this time around.
