UPDATE: I called Dish Network (my sat. provider for several years now) today and they are upgrading me for Free to the HD package, including new 2-room HD-DVR and installation. For free! $0.00 (and I am actually going to save about $9.00 a month). WIN!

I actually do dish sign ups and installs on occasion at my work, I could of told you that lol. They'll usually give you the promo pricing if you do a Dish it Up and then call and ask for it. (that's $15/mo cheaper)

I dropped DISH a few years ago because they wouldn't do a free upgrade and wanted me to pay $200 for the new HD DVR Receiver. I had been with them for 9-10 years at that time. Looks like they are learning their lesson.
