Video Card
So my friend is updating his computer. I haven't been too active building computers lately so I'm not sure what the best price/performance video card out now is.
His price range is 100-200$. He plays a lot of SC2 primarily.
My initial thoughts were that the GTX 460 would be good but a good version (like the Zotac) runs around $200.
Does anyone know of a fairly comporable less expensive card? I've heard good things about the GTS 450's but don't know how they'd handle SC2 on ultra during the massive battles.

Re: Video Card
find anything running directx 11 thats all i got to say
as far as running on ultra not sure really all comes down to what his rig is built to handle you could have a kick ass card but a bottle neck coming from the cpu

Re: Video Card
Sorry I couldn't be of much assistance to you. I know a lot about video cards, but ones being used for building gaming rigs?....not so much.
I'd look to guys like Epic, Sticky, Vision, or Zalacious for those answers. Whatever the guys above said can't be far off...LOL

Re: Video Card
Yeah I build a lot of pc's at work but that's always boring computers or absolute top end so I wasnt sure what a good middle ground was (100-200). Everything said above and around the internet points to the gtx 460
