S7 Forza 3 C-Class Tourney - Season 2

Season 2 NEWS:

Alright! Things are rolling along nicely and this is by far the best season yet. Everyone is really stepping up and the competition is closer then ever. Glock has edged out into the lead once again with another win but I don't plan to let that rest. Of course I am not the only one trying to take the lead. Wiggles is also within striking distance and Epic and Sticky are close behind. Here are the season standings so far:

1st - Glock (28 pts)
2nd - Interseptor (26 pts)
3rd - Wiggles (21 pts)
4th - Epic (17 pts)
5th - Sticky (16 pts)
6th - OC (10 pts)
7th - Atrum (8 pts)
8th - Easy - (5 pts)

It's literally anyone's race as we head into the middle stretch of the season.

Up Next? C-Class. And with it comes even more options, faster cars and better handling. And as the power increases the tuning becomes even more important. Selecting the right car, providing the right parts and getting the right tune will all be key in winning this Tourney. Time to get to work boys. We got a lot of work to do and only two weeks to get it done. I predict another close one coming up. Who has what it takes to win? Stay tuned as Season 2 continues to roll...

Drivers will have 2 weeks to build, tune and test their cars, at which point we will meet up and see who has what it takes to win.
It is also worth note that we might have to Qualify depending on the turnout (and whether the new guys make it or not). We had a full room for the last Tourney and very well could have some new faces joining us. Don't be late or you may miss out.

The rules are pretty simple and as follows:

This is a Championship Tourney so the event will be 7 races.

Date: Thursday, December 9, 2010
Time: Qualifying starts at 8:30pm sharp Eastern Time (if necessary)
Car Class: C-Class
Damage: Simulation
Collisions: Default
Starting Grid: Random
Tracks: TBA
# of Races: 7
# of Laps: TBD (depending on track length)

S7 Members ONLY!

The winner will be decided by points base on where you finish each track. The person with the most points will be the C-Class Champion for Season 2.

Yeah I had ordered it from Amazon, just waiting for it to be in stock. If I can get it at Gamestop I'll be on tonight.

Amazon now has the Ultimate Collection in stock and shipping from Amazon. It is still listed as out of stock from the Target source. Not sure if you can swap it over to the Amazon seller but if you can, it should ship immediately.

Think i'll probably run the Audi for this race. Was pretty decent last time but I only got to play 2 races, so think i'll just work on the tune some more.

I am probably gonna race a VW Corrado. I built it last season but never raced it in a Tourney. I think it's time for some V-Dub Power!!! I'll post up a pic sometime next week (I am officially "offline" till Saturday night).

Sooo, I didn't have time to make a car yet this week. I have an extremely legitimate reason though! I'll post the details in in general discussion later. I should be on tonight though.

Actually No. Harry Potter comes out so unless I can play somewhere in town I won't have time to do the tourney and get in line lol

Well, it turns out that I have to work late on Thursday night and I won't be home till about 10pm eastern. What do you guys thing about pushing it back a week and giving everybody a little more time? Otherwise it doesn't look like I can make it this week.

OK, since no one seems to object I say we officially move the Tourney to Thursday December 2, 2010. I'll update the original post too.

Bump! Don't forget the C-Class Tourney is finally coming up next week. It should provide a good distraction from Black Ops. I am really looking forward to it.

Try a few of the same power, see which suits your driving style better, then tune/upgrade that.
