Week One (9/28) Practice update...

I hereby declare the first official night of Halo/Reach practice a success. I think Sticky did a great job simply displaying the numerous modes available for MP play. I think that a lot of people that don't normally play the Halo series forget that there's more to it than simple slayer 4v4. Yeah, that's the bread and butter-- but there are lots of fun game modes (invasion, CTF, SWAT, oddball, zombie, Hot Potato, king of the hill, Juggernaut, Racing, etc.) that we as a clan and group can explore, have fun with, create our own maps/game version and enjoy weekly. I think that those that couldn't make it last night should certain attempt to get on next week (and all during the week) as we can have fun games going nightly.

Again, congrats to the new S7 GC and I see great nights of gaming ahead on this one. Hopefully you left people with a warm and fuzzy ready for more!!

I agree...Sticky did a great job and...not being a big Halo fan....I like this one for sure.
My favorite game modes so far..."King of the Hill" and "CTF".

I need help on tactics! Any takers....

Ya for the little time I got to play, that was the most fun I had on mp halo. If you play in the public lobbies everybody wants to play snipers, invasion, and zombie. Which IMO or flat out sh1tty game modes and suck all around. People just spawn camp in snipers. Here are my only tips uc but I'm not that good they just help me . First up your sensitivity because default is slow. Next alwAys aim for the head. If you are using the pos assault rifle unload on the enemy and then finish them of with the pistol don't reload. You will pull up your pistol faster them you can reload and if you been hitting him slot with the rifle he's almost dead, third if I guys fallowing you and shooting you throw a nade at your feet he will probably walk into it. Fourth if you areusing the dmr and aiming at the head with zoom and can wait until the inner circle appears, then it does more damage and is a headshot. Anyway those work for me but I haven't logged a lot of hours in the game

Let's not forget that Wonky found out that you can hear the other team if they are near you.

Well, I've logged a sh1tload of hours and can say you're pretty much dead on with everything you just said. LOL The only thing you forgot was if/when you've shot four-five times you'll see them "glow" with sort of a lightning effect--this tells you the shields are down...MELEE THAT FOOL!!!!

As for tips, it's easier just to go through it as we're in game Charles rather than me writing a complete book. You can get that online anyway.

best tip ever find were and how often the power weapons spawn and keep going for them i dont care if its even using the green ball do it and win it!!!

I play on 7 sensitivity
Vision aka Loose change plays on 2 sensitivity
Sticky you play on 4 sensitivity?

Its all up to you, if your wanting accuracy go with a slower sensitivity, if you want the ability to turn faster or switch targets quicker go with a higher sensitivity. Test out what works best for you and stick with it and refine it tell its your own.

Yeah, I play on 2 sens. the ONLY downside I have is CQC. I WILL get my ass handed to me if they jump around, or if I lose them. I cannot turn fast enough, though I've trained myself pretty well to be able to judge where they will be, and I can maneuver to counter.

My accuracy at medium-long range is ridiculous though. It is all about finding what you are comfortable with.

I role with the default 3 Gs...homies.

I use 7 or 8 on my sensitivity but then again my play style is up close and personal

I need to adjust my sensitivity and defiantly find out where the weapons are.
Maybe we can have a run through at practice on where they are on which maps.

Yep I run at 6-7 sensitivity, I (as you all know) do a lot of running, ducking, dodging and up close play so I need my head, hands, and weapon on a swivel. If I were a more "camper-ish" type player 2-3 would be the key.
