dragon age origins

if you were like me and put off playing this game .. you are missing out
it is a very good game

only took me 26hours to finish it !!!! lol so its a long game but for 12bucks at gamestop its a great deal

i got it thru gamefly... twice actually...

first time i never even started to play it... just didn't care much and didnt want to play a game that long... and i was starting on Fallout 3 at the time... so i sent it back...

second time... i played about 30 minutes... said it was too much like WoW and i would much rather not get sucked into that world again... so i sent it back again.

well i do agree that it feels alot like playing wow !!!

Like WoW minus the idiot party members and the loot drama. On my 3rd play-through and just now starting to wear down. Still need to get Awakening though

Yep, same concepts of tank, healer, melee and ranged dps. A tad more blood than in wow though.

I've been putting it off because it was something I would have convince my parents to buy for me(M rating with gore and stuff). They've started to let down on it now though, so I think I might have to pick this up...mostly because I heard WoW in relation to it lol.

has anyone download the new DLC for dragon age yet?

Which? There's a lot! I have the first 3 (Warden's Keep, The Stone Prisoner, and Return to Ostegar). When I get the time/cash I want to do Leliana's Song, the Darkspawn Adventure (or whatever it's called where you play as the darkspawn), and of course Awakenings. Those first 3 are pretty cool - Warden's Keep gives you a party chest for storage and to upgrade armor/weapons to match your level. Very useful to up those pieces you collected at low level and are red or yellow quality. Plus it gives you the best sword in the game.

yea, i downloaded witch hunt( new DLC ) last night. so far i havent't played it yet, still doing the ostagar DLC where u get too kill the orge that killed the king in that epic battle.

Sweet, I hadn't even heard of the witch hunt yet. God that game has so much DLC its overwhelming (my harddrive is definitely overwhelmed).

I love games that keep on giving...Bioware rocks. Between the DLC for this Game and Mass Effect 2, the stories just keep rolling.
