Details energed earlier today and Activision has officially announced the COD: Black Ops Prestige Edition...



Rumored to be priced at $149.00 this edition features the following:

- Black Ops Medallion
- Exclusive Avatar Outfit
- 4 Co-Op Multiplyer Maps
- And of course the actual working Spy RC. Including working TFT color Video and Audio signal sent to the operator!!!

honestly I like this.
I have NEVER in the history of my gaming (circa 1977 w/Atari 2600) purchased the "special editions or platinum editions", but I honestly for some reason like this !! Maybe it's the little boy in me that still like RC cars, but I may actually get this.

wow! Now that is some powerful incentive to buy the expensive edition. I wonder if that's the only way to get the old zombie maps or if they might be a seperate DLC cheaper than the expensive edition. I could def do without the RC car, but gotta have all the zombie maps. Avatar clothes is a nice bonus but not enough to sway me. The article above kinda points to the maps being available as a $15 DLC.

the first image which contains details of the Hardened Edition includes the following quote: “Four exclusive zombie maps from World at War updated for the Black Ops engine ($15 value)”.

The Hardened edition will also have the maps if you don't want to go all out for the Prestige edition.
