Madden 11 - My Thoughts...

First, gameflow is awful... didn't like it in the demo... still don't like it now...

Second, why does it seem that despite the fact that Madden 10/11
are the most "realistic" games in the series...
They seem to have such crazy and completely unrealistic sh1t happen?

I've never seen so many breakaway runs, crazy broken tackles, wide open recievers, stupidly off passes... It's like they turned the redic factor in this game up to 13...

Examples (in just 3 games):
- EVERY game online so far 80+ total points...
- 3 Kick Return TD's
- 2 INT TD's
- 2 FF TD's
- 540 yard passing game
- 290 yard rushing game
- 97 yard TD run
- 4 Rushing TD's over 75 yards
- 9 Passing TD's over 75 yards
- 2 times: Fumble returned for TD's and forced another fumble on the next kickoff
- 6 FF in one game (in a dome, can't blame weather on that one)
- Hail Mary 1 reciever V. 3 defenders - caught by receiver - broke all 3 tackles and scored

If I saw that over the course of a season for one team that would be crazy... this was in just 3 games...

And F the Vikings - Favre isn't in camp he shouldn't be their QB... same with Revis and the Jets...



I'm sure i'll have more to b1tch about as I play more... but those games reminded me why I've broken so many controller in a Madden Rage over the years...

Wiggles with the game flow have you set up a play book and tried it yet? I did that in the demo and it seemed beter because you pick the plays for each situation and then can weight them. It helps make game flow work better for you. But like I said I only played the demo and the play book stuff made it better not great but better.

i did... but i musch prefer avoiding tendencies etc... in a normal game i rarely if ever call the same plays in situations etc...

Also, I've never seen such crappy throws out of Tom Brady or Drew Brees (even people I'm playing against have done it)...

A man wide open across the middle, and he throws a sky ball lob pass behind the receiver right to a defender... these are throws I could have made even with my T-Rex arms and girl hands... Its just crazy...

(side note: QB was in the pocket, not like I was trying to do some crazy on the run stuff or anything)

So... f-ing annoying...

I had someone run the exact same play against me for the entire 2nd half... and I couldn't stop it... period... No defensive set, zone/man, controlling the defender myself, biltzing, NOTHING could stop it... 700 passing yards later for him... but I still won...

Either way... it's just so stupid...

I had a game against the Titans... EVERY play went to their d-bag RB... 4 plays of over 75 yards for TDs.... I still won... but its just so d@mn stupid... this isn't football...

SOOOOO ready to finish the achievements and dump this game...

Was thinking about picking Madden up this year, may just buy the old one instead, lol.

It's not as bad as Wiggles has said to me so far Epic, but only had it since yesterday.

Maybe it's just the online experience. Which I don't really play anyway.

Nowhere else to post this, had a bag of Doritos today and unlocked the Madden 3D mode. Very cool...try it if you're in the store and see a bag with the code.
