After some great games and an unfortunate withdraw from the tourney, we have finally crowned our champion in the Intra-Clan Madden Tourney:

S7 Anonymous

Anonymous trounced Deranged 35-3 to cruise through the first round of the tourney. In the second round he edged out Agent in a close 40-28 game. After defeating Agent, Anonymous got to experience the real life wait before the championship game. OC and Atrum struggled to complete their game, due to Atrum not being able to reacquire his copy of Madden, which ultimately lead to Atrum forfeiting the game.

Following the forfeit, OC and racecar squared off in a close matchup which saw OC walk away from the game with a 24-21 victory. The Championship Game looked to be a good one with Anonymous' 13-3 49ers squaring off against OC's 13-3 Pats. That, however, was not the case. OC was no match for Anonymous who clobbered him with a whopping 73-7 victory.

While it took a while to complete what we had hoped would have been a week-long tourney, Anonymous finally was able to earn the spot of last man standing and the title of 2012 Intra-Clan Madden Champ. Along with the title Anonymous will also take home a custom designed forum sig, made by Atrum, and a $15 Amazon gift card.

Not sure about the franchise, it seems as though things kinda started to putter out. And you're right Wiggles, I would have liked to have gotten you and Chippy in.

I think everything went fairly quick other than Atrum not being able to acquire his copy of the game. DarkAgent may be able to answer if there's a way to set a time limit for user played games in a franchise? If so I think there's enough interest in starting one up even if we are playing for second fiddle to Anonymous, lol.

FYI... if y'all want a Madden League I'll step up and run it... just say the word

Go for it Wiggles. I'm pretty sure we could get somewhere between 6-12 players so it should be pretty good.

Fantasy draft or no?

Grats Anonymous! Sounds like a fun tourny. Nice job on that Puppet.

I'd say fantasy draft. That way I can play the Bears but still have the potential to be competitive. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I enjoy the fantasy drafts even though they take a long time. I like being able to pick my team even down to the last crappy back up.

Doesn't matter I'm down for a fantasy daft but I got prompted to days so I have to get up early for work. Can we have the daft on the weekends like a Friday or Saturday night??
