Well the idea is to race "classic American muscle". Personally I don't think the 1979 Camero quite fits the profile so I would prefer we not use them but I will let it slide if everyone else agrees.

@ Wiggles - why would you be out? You couldn't possible use another car?

well i am driving the 79 as well thats old school American muscle

Just been reading this thread and wanted to add something.
Not sure if I'll be there or not, but last I checked "classic American muscle" means anything 23 years and over.

According to the Classic Car Club of America, a car isn't usually considered a "classic" until it hits the 23 year mark...so if you use that as a measuring stick, a '79 would be considered a classic...

dont have the $ for another one, and i wouldnt have time to tune one in that time period...

I'll be racing my Barracuda. Tuned it last night, but not sure it is quite right. I could use a second opinion though - gonna PM you Glock.

Well, I am fine with using the 79's so go for it. It is a JFF Tourney anyway so it's all about having fun. (Plus that is a tight paint job Wiggles, you do it yourself?)

The only real question is whether or not we do it tomorrow. I guess we'll see what the turnout looks like. If we get enough people I want to go ahead and do it.

I'll probably be on tonight and tomorrow if anyone wants to test their cars.

yep thats all me... (well didnt make the Top 78 or the Playboy bunny or the NY state plate on it... but the rest was me) lol

You didn't make the top 78? That is a simple design. You must have bought that a long time ago, before you started painting your our. Anyway, good looking ride bro.

Will do. I like to get on on Mondays and and run the tracks. See how the car handles etc...
