Fall 2016 Recommendations

So, the Fall 2016 season of anime has officially started.  Tons of show have either already started are are about to in the next few days.  So, what are you watching?  What are you planning to watch?  Anything stand out yet?  These are the things I am looking to find out over the next few weeks while I try and put together a list of 3 shows for our Season Highlights section.

The only restriction is that it needs to be in the current season of anime airing right now.  Preferably not a continuing series but something that is starting fresh at episode 1.

Talk about them here and tell me your recommendations either in a post or a PM.

I'll kick things off.  So far I have only watch 1 new show...

Izetta, The Last Witch

"Set in an alternate Earth on the eve of the 2nd World War, the story follows Izetta, the last surviving member of a clan of witches that possesses the ability to magically manipulate any object that they touch. Izetta pledges to help protect Princess Fine and the tiny Alpine kingdom of Eylstadt from invasion by the imperialistic forces of Germania."

After 1 episode I don't have a lot of details but the 1st episode was very good and it shows a lot of promise.

Currently rewatching Haikyuu!! Third season should be starting this week, so I plan to watch that.

Izetta was good! definitely recommend.

Trickster Ep 1 was pretty good. Super basic synopsis
Main group is part of a detective agency, one of the characters encounters a boy who apparently can't be injured (though he tries quite a few ways). Mysterious bad guy attacks some corporation, drawing said characters together.

Well its not a new fall show but Full Metal Alchemist brotherhood just released on Crunchyroll. I believe Netflix let it go so Crunchyroll decided to pick it up.

It's worth noting that netflix never had the final season. CR definitely DOES. So enjoy everyone.

only had a chance to watch WWW.WAGNARIA!! but I totally agree that first episode was not that great of a start. Its got good art style besides everything being outlined in a dark brown?!?!?

Well... Yuri on Ice was actually much better than anticipated. Should play out like most sport anime.
