Nioh Open Alpha (PS Exclusive)

As a Souls fan I gotta say this game looks amazing! Its a mach-up of Onimusha and Dark Souls made by Team Ninja. And on top o that it looks absolutely breath taking. Check out the trailer below...



The open Alpha starts today once the PS store resets (around 2pm I think) and runs till May 5th. I'll be DLign and streaming it tonight for those who want to check it out. I hope it's as good as it looks. I'll post up impressions later.

Little update I found trolling articles...

"Players who complete the Nioh Alpha Demo will be given access to The Mark of the Conqueror DLC for free at the full game's launch. In addition, those who complete the demo are able to take a survey, which rewards players with an exclusive phone wallpaper."

Doesn't sound like it would necessarily be up my alley, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

I don't have much of an update yet as I only played from about an hour before switching back to DS3.  While the game is similar, the controls are different (buttons for attack/block/run etc...) and it was messing me up so I decided I would finish up DS3 before taking on Nioh (I was late game in DS3 at the time and I needed my "A" game).

I will say this. The game is gorgeous and runs amazingly well.  It's also VERY hard.  Harder than any Souls games from what little I experienced but I am anxious to get back into it and really put in some time.  I love the setting, the graphics and mood of the game.  If I can start to master it I think it will be amazing.

Looks good. Plus it looks different enough to draw my interest.
