Final Fantasy XV

Soo, stumbled upon the FFXV Uncovered stream on twitch.

I'm absurdly excited for the game now. 5 episode anime coming out before the game drops.
There is also a CG movie [Kingsglaive] coming out that happens at the same time.

They've got an absurd amount of celebrities voicing characters between the movie and game.

I figured they'd be making some big announcements other than the release date, but an anime and CG movie was something I was not expecting. I was also surprised by some of the big name actors doing some of the voices. There's also a new demo released that will have a story that won't be in the final game and also has unlockables for the final game. Looks like they're really trying to get Final Fantasy XV on peoples radars.

There's also an iOS game coming out that is the same minigame from FFXV itself.

I'm definitely more excited about it now.

The demo was a lot of fun for what it was: basically a tech demo with some representative combat toward the end. I still find the camera to be a little annoying and the spellcasting will take a while to get used to, but I'm so incredibly excited for this game after being fairly uninterested for years. That trailer ending with the new "airship" made me squeal since that means we will finally be able to explore again after the FF13 debacle.
